This is a stunning trombone to both see and play. Back in the 1920s, the best french horns were coming out of Berlin from the Schmidt factory. Christopher is a native of Harvey, Illinois and currently resides in the Chicagoland area. KT43XX, For the baritone or euphonium player who is afraid of the slide. The work was very well done and some of the tube bending is impressive. Another fun arrangement of a popular Stephen Foster song.

This one is in very good condition with some minor wear on contact points and a bit of acid bleed of a few spots. Perhaps I should have also mentioned the final chorale; here, Richter does capture some of the 'transcendental magnificence' of the trombones, especially in the second half, where you can hear the trombones 'blasting away' in the background. With its cylindrical bore, strong penetrating tone and ability to produce a seamless glissando, the trombone has a key role in orchestras and bands of many kinds.
